Ainda n\u00e3o h\u00e1 detalhes sobre as circunst\u00e2ncias do ocorrido. Ainda de acordo com as informa\u00e7\u00f5es, no carro viajava com outras tr\u00eas pessoas, um casal acompanhado do filho que desembarcou no aeroporto de Salvador. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre o estado de sa\u00fade dos demais ocupantes.<br><br>A morte de Neguinho Motorista causa grande como\u00e7\u00e3o na comunidade de Itagib\u00e1. O vereador havia assumido o mandato no \u00faltimo dia 19 de agosto, durante sess\u00e3o na C\u00e2mara Municipal, ap\u00f3s a morte de Ant\u00f4nio da Cer\u00e2mica, que faleceu em 5 de agosto, v\u00edtima de um mal s\u00fabito em sua resid\u00eancia no distrito do Japomirim. O falecimento de Neguinho Motorista deixa a cidade e o cen\u00e1rio pol\u00edtico local profundamente abalados.
